Who we are
One of us is Zoe and the other is Edd. Our website address is: zoeandedd.co.uk. You might recognise it as the website you are currently on.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
There may be an occasion by which we choose to request information from you through means of a Contact Form. Rest assured that any information you decide to share with us will most likely be ignored, but it’ll make us all feel better that you sent it and that we definitely received it.
We reserve the right to keep this information for the foreseeable future, either as entertainment, evidence for potential litigation against you, or just so we can print something out and check our ink levels.
What rights you have over your data
You have absolute rights over your data, but as soon as you give it to me, tbh you forfeit any rights to it. We won’t be silly about it, but if you are going to send information over the internet, you are very much surrendering your control. I don’t think I could get much for the data anyway, but if I am short of 20p I might try and sell some of your names to a Nigerian Prince I met on Brighton pier.
How we protect your data
Once surrendered to us, your data will be protected through a complex system of forgotten passwords, long lost email addresses, general apathy and overall incompetence.
What data breach procedures we have in place
One time the toaster caught fire and Zoe ran into the living room and was like “Edd! The toaster is on fire” I ran out to the kitchen and was surprised to see that there were flames coming out of the toaster slots. On reflection, the crumb tray probably should have been emptied, but who ever thinks that the crumb tray would be a problem. To be honest, until I saw flames coming out of the toaster, I don’t think I’d even considered there was a crumb tray in order to empty it. I leaned over and gave it a big blow and it went out. I imagine we’ll do something like that again if there’s a data breach.
